Cosmetic Patch Machine
When working as an employee, I was the chief design engineer on a machine designed to produce cosmetic facial patches. The machine was designed to be able to produce many types of patch, with a minimum time to switch over tools. All material was supplied in large rolls, and was cut in various ways and placed onto the production piece. A reliable source has said that this was the largest automation design project in Ireland the year it was completed.
