MACHINE DESIGN
FINAL DESIGN
With the mechanical design agreed upon and all issues worked out, the project then needs to be fully completed, ready for manufacture. Fasteners can be drawn in, purchased components fully specified, and detailed manufacturing drawings done for manufactured parts. A detailed Bill of Materials should be produced for tracking purposes, and general assembly drawings produced if called for.
Completing the design fully-- leaving nothing to guess work-- at this stage will save time and money in the future. No running to the hardware store for missing bolts, no returning wrongly purchased components. Without a Bill of Materials, parts sometimes do not get ordered or are misplaced. Jeffery Neal has learned these things from experience, and knows the trouble that can be avoided by paying attention to all of the small details.
Jeffery Neal Engineering is committed to producing fully complete machine designs. Our detailed drawings are produced to the highest standards, and our general assembly drawings make assembly as easy as possible. With a complete Bill of Materials, the customer can rest assured that all parts are obtained.
