SIGN OFF
Installed and tested, the machine is ready for production. If the machine is complex, there may be a run-in period, to ensure that the machine stands up to full use. Jigs and fixtures may need to experience the full product variation during a complete run before final acceptance.
The customer needs to be completely satisfied with the machine at this stage. The machine needs to be fully functioning and producing product without unacceptable errors. Any “teething issues” that arise needs to be solved quickly, so that the machine can be handed over to customer control and production can proceed with the product.
